A Bit More About Me.

HI, IM ISABEL
I am a Digital Service Designer, with goals of using design to bring equity, impact, and inclusion to more spaces. I am an optimist by trade, and I design through the lens of what the world could be as opposed to what it is. I am a graduate of Cornell University's Design and Environmental Analysis program, focused on human centered design and design thinking. At Cornell, I worked on the Diversity and Inclusion board of my major to bring more perspectives to our program, as well as a higher degree of focus on sustainable design.
Right now I work as a UI/UX Designer at a super innovative private equity firm, Zyyo, which is working to decrease barriers to real estate investing with block chain based technology. Prior, I worked as a UI/UX design intern for an amazing startup called CariClub, which matches C-suite level executives from the financial services industries with non-profit board positions to help NPOs flourish and succeed.
In my free-time, I love being in motion, preferably in the great outdoors, and finding new ways to connect with people. Being a part of a team in college played a huge role in my success as a student athlete, and during my career I was able to set two school records for the Cornell Women's Gymnastics team. As a recently retired athlete, I'm always looking for new ways to challenge myself and beat up my 80-year old joints. I also love photography, and you can see some of the things I find most beautiful here.
